Projects I have worked or still am working – ordered by size and complexity
  • Santrax Agency Management – Lead developer on the new version of nHome (see below). This system is built on ASP.NET utilizing Windows Communication Foundation as the service framework. It is web based (obviously) and is currently deployed state-wide in Tennessee and also deployed in Miami-Dade County in Florida to help combat Medicaid fraud and abuse and is being integrated into the entire Sandata suite of Home Health products. This version is being upgraded with Medicare support and will be soon be rolled out to many customers across the United States.
  • OIS – Developer on the retail portion of the Navy’s ammunition inventory system. Utilized Oracle and Oracle Forms/Reports to develop a n-tier architecture for an application to provide the U.S. Navy with a web-based system for tracking inventory on a per-installation level.
  • OSE – Developer on the wholesale portion of the Navy’s ammunition inventory system; a replacement for CAIMS (Conventional Ammunition Inventory Management System). Utilized Oracle and Oracle Forms/Reports to develop a n-tier architectured system to provide the U.S. Navy with a web-based system for tracking inventory across the entire fleet.
  • nHome – Developer on a dotNet based application utilizing Microsoft SQL Server for the backend database. nHome is an application for managing home health care agencies and is quickly becoming a leader in the field, rivaling the big-boys that dominate the industry, such as McKesson – providing many of the same features and some that the others do not – at a dramatically lower TCO, allowing agencies a much higher ROI.
  • Postnuke – an open source CMS system I founded with three other guys: John Cox, Greg Allan (RIP) and Harry Zink. This was a fork of the immensely popular PHP-Nuke project which we felt was not heading in the direction we would like it to go. I originally wore the hat of source code maintainer, approving and maintaining patches provided by community developers as well as tackling coding tasks doled out by program manager John Cox. Eventually I removed myself from the project due to paying work taking over and the internal politics of the project. In all official references, my name is always mispelled as Sean Finkle – which is a very common error.
